Rainer - Hope

Rebekah Raa's silky voice is both the light and tunnel on this hopeful new pop song.

The new one from pop duo Rainer sounds more like the work of a trio, as vocalist Rebekah Raa splits herself into two duelling voices to lead the listener through what feels like a cavernous, echoing tunnel of troubling thoughts. Stick with it, though, because at the end of these elegiac harmonies is a bright burst of sunlight in the form of dancehall rhythms (courtesy of producer Casually Here) and the irrepressible chant of "didn't know that I was falling/didn't know that I was falling in love". The title Hope coudn't be any more apt.

Rainer recently made a mixtape for Dummy of all their current favourite tunes, from Drake to FKA Twigs to Casually Here's own productions; it's called the 'Long Nights and Night Longing' mixtape and you can listen to it here.

Kissability will release the 'Hope/Satin/Glass/Dreams' EP on the 25th November 2013.
