R Stevie Moore film in the works

Following his collaboration with Ariel Pink earlier this year, influential lo-fo legend R Stevie Moore will be the subject of a documentary to be released in 2012, the year he’ll turn 60. Named after his 1976 album ‘Phonography’, the film will tell his remarkable life story and 400+ albums. Director Jon Demiglio joined Stevie on his first ever tour in the summer which, incidentally, was funded by fans via Kickstarter.
