Pure X - Thousand Year Old Child

Every new leak and every new tidbit that surfaces from the new Pure X album suggests that it’ll be a pretty fantastic listen. In our recent catch-up with the band Ruth Saxelby described Thousand Year Old Child as having “heart-pricking call-and-response guitar and bass”, which is a very lovely way to describe a very lovely song. In that same interview, Pure X’s Nate Grace said that during the album’s writing process he “suddenly wanted to live very badly, to be as alive as fucking possible”, which you might be able to hear in the song as well.

Merok/Acephale will release ‘Crawling Up The Stairs’ on May 13th.
