Punks in Indonesia Have No Rights

After a months of harassment from authorities tension has come to a head this Wednesday in the semi-autonomous Indonesian province of Aceh, where conservative politics and Islamic law has seen to it that a local punk show be broken up, attendees piercings removed, heads shaved to get them back on to the straight and narrow.
