Premiere: Sivu - I Lost Myself (Cosmo Sheldrake remix)

Finnish-named, Cambridge-based singer-songwriter Sivu makes off-kilter pop anthems, his latest offering being I Lost Myself, a yearning track full of strings and oomph. But it's this scatter-brained rework from 23-year-old producer Cosmo Sheldrake that has caught our ears; burying Sivu's intense vocal under a warm lo-fi fuzz, bursts of shimmer and a laid-back pulse of bass, the whole thing feels like it's been left out in the sun to dry for a little while, and the result is blissful.
