Premiere: Sad City - Outer

Glasgow-based producer Sad City's deep, soulful offering for Phonica Records Special Editions.

Bangor-born, Glasgow-based producer Gary Caruth, better known as Sad City, has crafted a four-track suite for London’s Phonica Records Special Editions. Entitled ‘You Will Soon Find That Life Is Wonderful’, it’s the label’s first output of 2013, following on from last year’s 12“s from Sinkane and Sandro Perri. Due out on 21st May, Dummy are glad to be premiering a bonus track taken from the release.

Available for stream below is Outer, another piece of excellent production similar in tone with the other four that have a certain amount of funk behind their ambient grooves. Kicking off with a sort of background noise that slowly build ups and rolls into a blissed out wave of reverb-drenched tranquility, it boasts of a deep, soulful feeling while effortlessly asserts a note of zen.
