For their 50th instalment, Burlington cassette and record label NNA Tapes will release Matt Carlson’s ‘All Moments’ LP, in which one of the tracks is premiered below.

Reality Club is a breath of fresh air. The Portland-based musician cautions over warm, abstract synth notes and the tone and mode of his vocals, which have been electronically transformed by the use of vocoder. Elegantly melodic and addictively rhythmic, it’s a track that engages with the more traditional musical materials of melody, harmony, and rhythm. It is a combination so finely executed and refined we cannot recommend it enough.
