Premiere: Koett - Blacksad

Joyous texture from Russian producer on Applescal's label.

Krasnodar based Russian producer Alexander Tochilkin has been making music in various guises since 2005 but his most recent solo endeavour is under the name Koett. Following releases on FUSELab and Dabit Records, his debut album 'Golden Peak' is being released by Dutch producer Applescal's label Atomnation on 25th November. Album track Blacksad, which Dummy is proud to premiere today, rises like the sun that adorns the album artwork (see below). There's something of Walls' melodic emoting and Floating Points' jazz inclinations to the track but its trajectory and texture feel thrillingly new.
