Premiere: Depeche Mode - My Little Universe (Boys Noize remix)

A track from the legendary rock band gets turned into an acid burnout courtesy of dance producer Boys Noize.

Boys Noize Records are gearing up to release two reworks of songs from Depeche Mode's 2013 album 'Delta Machine'. One rework of Alone comes from BNR mainstay Djedjotronic, and a second remix of My Little Universe is by label head Alex Ridha aka Boys Noize himself.

Boys Noize has history with Depeche Mode, having been behind an official remix of their classic telephone stomper Personal Jesus a couple of years ago. His new rework of My Little Universe starts fairly faithful to the electronic minimalism of the original song, but lets it evolve slowly and gradually into a gigantic acid burnout.

In its own way, it recalls another Depeche Mode remix: Ewan Pearson's version of Enjoy The Silence similarly remained faithful to the original, letting it play out as normal before settling into an isolated acid groove.

Stream the remix below, and do to check out Boys Noize's list of the 10 best German '80s new wave tracks.

01. My Little Universe (Boys Noize Remix)
