Belgian electronic oddball François Boulanger, aka Cupp Cave, is releasing a new EP which we're happy to be bringing you today.
Some of you may be familiar with Boulanger for his releases under the delicious alias Ssaliva, others for his first EP, 'Retina Waves', released last year. Others won't be familiar with him at all, so here's the lowdown: the 'NVMB' EP has five tracks of electronic sounds from outer space and rhythms that sound like they were tapped out on a drum machine that has become sentient. Most of the tracks are concise – only two of them top the three minute mark – and give a sense of Cupp Cave as a man with a lot of ideas that swirl around in his head at any one time.
The EP is due out on Ramp Recordings next week, and a debut album will follow in 2014.
Ramp Recordings will release on October 21st 2013.
