Premiere: Bobby Tank - Waterphone Shadows

Here's a brand new track from London producer Bobby Tank, taken from his upcoming EP.

Waterphone Shadows, premiered below, is the second track taken from Bobby Tank’s forthcoming ‘The Way’ EP, a slice of power-hour machine funk so seductive it sounds like Jimmy Edgar’s sexed-up take on electro meeting the glossy, over-excited synth imagination of Rustie’s.

Having impressed us last year with his debut propulsive electro/funk ‘Afterburn’ EP, the London producer will return to his native label MofoHifi in February to release his second record, titled ‘The Way’, a six-tracker devoted to explore the unrestricted, explosive future funk that alternates between uplifting and crushing. With remixes under his belt for AlunaGeorge and Rudi Zygadlo, we can also expect a remix of Flume from Bobby in the coming months.
