Premiere: Blood Diamonds - Apex

Video game design student by day, producer by night Blood Diamonds is back with a new EP on the Skrillex-founded OWSLA imprint next week and we have the first taste of it here. Blood Diamonds has worked with vocalists in the past, notably Dominic Lord (nee. A$AP Dom) and pal Grimes, but new song Apex is an instrumental, its melodies shining through a sound design of clicks, glitches, science fiction synths and all sorts of vocal sample contortions. Bright stuff – the track will appear on the b-side of an extra special 7" vinyl.
