The collaboration includes clothing and a limited edition controller

Pioneer DJ have announced their first ever fashion collaboration with Virgil Abloh’s luxury label Off-White and launched a limited-edition DJ Controller ‘DJ-1000-OW’ to go with it.

Virgil Abloh’s concept of ‘SOUND ENGINEERING’, which is also the name of the capsule collection, was used as the idea to build something that incorporates the unity and harmony of music and fashion.

Virgil Abloh says, “As with the skeleton CDJ and DJM I designed with Pioneer DJ, I wanted to take this opportunity to bring together technology and human interaction.” He adds, “Both music and fashion, in my opinion, are these intense forces that have the unique power to bring people together while letting you make your own statement all at the same time.”

The silk-screen printed tees will feature the words ‘SOUND ENGINEERING’ emboldened in fluorescent green. The DJ controller comes in asymmetrical matt white and orange and inherits the layout of the CDJ-2000NXS2 and the set-up of the DJM-900NXS2 to achieve the features of a professional standard. Available in very limited quantities.
