Watch a new documentary about Lil Silva and George FitzGerald aka OTHERLiiNE

A partnership that happened almost by accident, OTHERLiiNE is the musical collaboration that is Lil Silva and George FitzGerald. Both esteemed producers in their respective fields, they first linked up for a remix before realising they gelled well as musicians.

‘OTHERLiiNE’ is their debut project – packed with shimmering melodies and bursting with energy, it’s an example of two musical minds pushing each other to make something totally unique.

Of the record, FitzGerald says: “It’s not 50 per cent me, 50 per cent Lil Silva – it’s this third thing. Together we’re something else, something more, it’s become another entity.”

A new documentary, directed by Joseph Marshall, delves deep into this partnership, following the pair around their studios in Peckham and Bedford, while getting an insight into their collaborative style.

Using a split screen style to illustrate two independent artists working on something as a whole, it’s a great insight into two hyper-creative minds.
