oOoOO - Forlorn Dub

San Francisco-based producer oOoOO unexpectedly released a new track called Forlorn Dub via his Youtube account yesterday. With a name that’s not only apt but wryly self-aware, the track is minimalist and eerie, carrying barely-felt traces of despairing vocals along on a thick, muffled beat. This is first new music to come from the Tri Angle-affiliated producer since last year, and it’s a welcome, quietly intriguing return.
