Nite Jewel signs to Secretly Canadian

L.A.- based electro-funk project Nite Jewel have signed to respected Indiana indie, Secretly Canadian for an album due for release early in 2012. After successful outings on Mexican Summer, Italians Do It Better and Gloriette, the deal breaks new ground for Ramona Gonzalez’s outfit, joining the likes of Antony & the Johnsons, Jens Lekman and Yeasayer on the Bloomington label.

Also new on the Nite Jewel front is a limited edition seven-inch for the single “She’s Always Watching You,” released on the Yourstru.ly imprint Love Letters Ink, that comes with mountains of added incentives, including a handwritten thank-you letter.
