Nimmo - Dilute This (Maya Jane Coles remix)

Nimmo's vocals melt into Maya's sweeping beats in a remix that definitely doesn't follow in the tracks title.

Following on from their sold-out show at Hackney's Oslo earlier this week, close knit group Nimmo suprise with a Maya Jane Coles remix of their recent track Dilute This. Pulsating and euphoric, the original track is produced by one half of UNKLE and legendary DFA co-founder Tim Goldsworthy (who boasts a back catalog of work with the likes of Hercules & Love Affair, Massive Attack and Cut Copy). Layering up synths with jazzy keys and pure energy, it doesn't falter or fall short of danceworthy.

Maya gives Nimmo's original track a big-room house sucker punch, and ignoring the track name – she takes the rework from strength to strength – cutting the vocals so they melt pefectly into her sweeping beats, whilst still maintaining the profound emotion of Sarah and Reva's driving words.
