Nightwave - You Are My High [stream]

Nightwave is the new name of Slovenia-born, London-based producer Maya Medvesek. It’s feels like an altogether better fit than the tongue-in-cheek 8Bitch, under which she released her cosmos-channelling debut EP ‘Equinox’ on Seed Records last November. Her sound has grown into the new name too; it’s more fluid and upfront yet still retains those signature moments of light. You Are My High (listen on the right) from her new EP, ‘The Feel’, is like driving out to the countryside, gazing up at the night sky and watching the stars appear one by one.
