Music show Fourtothefloor will return to Channel 4 next Wednesday (July 8th) for its second series.

If you want to see music programming on UK television, your options are pretty terrible: you know it, we know it. There's the MOR of Jools Holland, self-congratulatory music industry love-ins like The BRITs, well-researched but ultimately backwards-looking classic music documentaries, and TOTP2.

First broadcast in October last year, Fourtothefloor was that rare thing: a show on UK television that was focused on new and emerging music, its first season featuring musicians like Jessy Lanza, Raury, and Mac DeMarco.

The new series looks to be keeping itself fresh-faced – the first two episodes of its new series will feature artists like Novelist, Earl Sweatshirt, and Manchester crew Levelz.

You can watch a teaser for the show above. Tune into Fourtothefloor on Channel 4 at 12.30am on Wednesday.
