New Music: Last Japan - Squad

Famed underground DJ and Coyote Records mainstay Last Japan is to return to the label and release his new EP, LUNA, on March 23rd, and it is inspired by the space and atmosphere of his east London home, Bow. It will combine shimmering, widescreen sound design with the clinical grime aesthetic he’s long been coveted for, especially on his 2016, AJ Tracey-assisted smash 'Ascend'.

In preparaton for the EP, Last Japan shares its first track, 'Squad', a cataclysmic collision of woozy synths, flatlining bass and smooth drum patterns. Listen below.
