When Bellatrix put her first song on Soundcloud back in November 2016, she didn't expect it be picked up by Dummy's very own NAO and played on her BBC Radio 1 show but that's exactly what happened. Spins on 6 Music followed and the dizzyingly cool, blisteringly inventive Bellatrix had been introduced to the world.
Having studied jazz double bass at Guildhall School of Music she started her music career earning a living playing her instrument but is now fully committed to writing her own music and making it as a solo artist. Produced by Exmoor Emperor and mixed by Emre Ramazanoglu 'Be Your Bitch' is all futuristic, jagged beats and staccato percussion – thrilling, exotic music for mind and body.
