Neu Balance - Better Off Alone

1080p have grown into one of our favourite new labels over the past couple of years, with some exceedingly good ears for weird and wild underground music.

They've got a new cassette from Vancouver bods Neu Balance (is that an amazing artist name, or a terrible one?) called 'Rubber Sole' (same question as before) lined up for release on January 6th next year which is made up of all this lush but really stoned house music. 

Better Off Alone – nowt to do with Alice Deejay – mixes sweetness with haze, matching a really abrasive and busy intro with some lovely, expressive musicianship.
