The latest from Neneh Cherry's upcoming LP 'Blank Project' is Everything, a seven-minute groove track driven by an addictive (and simple) groove, scattershot percussion and Cherry's own voice, which seems to have been pushed deliberately high up in the mix. It all smashes by the end, and really, everyone sounds like they're having fun on it.
Cherry has also shared a 10-minute long "high blood pressure" mix by Ricardo Villalobos and Max Loderbauer, which is every bit as stripped bare and compacted as you'd expect from the pair.
The album, which is produced by Four Tet and features RocketNumberNine as her backing band, is due out next month. You can listen to its title track here.
Smalltown Supersound will release 'Blank Project' on February 25th 2014.
