With her stripped-back (and entirely self-made) beats, the R&B singer positions her voice aggressively close to the listener, taunting them with her cries of “who’ll be the one you’re taking home tonight?”, while a painfully slow beat and tormenting synth stabs gradually turn up the pressure.
