Nas - The Don

Nas released the latest single from his long-awaited upcoming album Life is Good yesterday, along with some pretty flashy artwork.

Production credits go to Salaam Remi, Da Internz & Heavy D, and their expertise is obviously pulsating in this track, modestly titled ‘The Don’, with its metallic, heatwave shimmer. This is a dancehall-soaked beat that’s going to sit as heavy on your mind as that ring probably sits on Nas’s finger.

Life is Good will be the rapper’s tenth studio album, and will feature ‘The Don’ as well as ‘Nasty’, released last year . Nas recently tweeted that the record is “wrapped”, but as yet there’s no confirmation of a release date.
