Over production that growls with aggression like that of Odd Future, but swerves and swooshes with all the laid-back swagger of contemporaries like A$AP Rocky, Mr Muthafuckin eXquire is so of-the-moment that it makes total sense for his mixtape title to tie itself into the present day by wishing its audience a “Merry eX-Mas”.
