Mosca – 5000 Followers EP [MP3]
In thanks and appreciation for reaching the 5,000 follower milestone on Twitter, Mosca has offered up a free EP containing two slices of succulent, slow house fare.
Here, once again, the self-titled club music producer shows his range. He makes the switch from the hard, dancefloor precision of the acclaimed Bax, to this “100bpm and 105bpm slow house hiphop kinda stuff,” as he describes it (using under 140 characters, naturally), look embarrassingly easy. Which, of course, it isn’t.
The download comes packaged with artwork designed by the man himself and could yet prove an encouraging precedent for other producers of Mosca’s ilk. Grab a copy from Mediafire or stream the full release below.
