Moodymann hints that he'll be releasing new material soon

Outspoken, Detroit-based producer Kenny Dixon Jr has stated online that a new Moodymann LP is on its way.

Moodymann has caused a stir this weekend by dropping heavy hints that he will shortly be releasing a new record.

Writing on his Facebook page , the controversial house producer stated “new LP coming soon, produced by Moody, executive producer Jimmy D, featuring ????”. The post also included an obscure video, which reiterates the message that there will be a “new LP”, and which is available to watch here .

This would be the Dixon’s first full-length release since 2009’s Anotha Black Sunday , and his ninth studio album in total.

On Friday, Rob da Bank played a Moodymann remix of Lana Del Rey’s ‘Born to Die’ on his Radio 1 show, which is available to listen here , by skipping forward to 01:02.30.
