MoMA announces incredible lineup for its summer music season

PS1 – the summer-long outdoor music festival held in the New York museum's courtyard – has unveiled its strongest-ever lineup.

Curated by some of modern music’s keenest minds and featuring a range of forward-thinking, PS1 has just unveiled its strongest line-up yet. Taking place every Saturday from early July to mid-September, it’s held in New York’s Museum of Modern Art PS1 courtyard, with a temporary urban landscape by exciting architecture firm HWKN.

The lineup is a pretty great cross-section of forward-thing pop, art and party music today, as well as something hinting at a new canon, featuring stars-of-now from Jamie xx to Danny Brown to Holy Other to Kassem Mosse with some slightly older names like Hieroglyphic Being, Just Blaze, MJ Cole and Thom Yorke’s band Atoms For Peace.
