Miley Cyrus's 'Party In The USA' and N*SYNC's 'Bye Bye Bye' re-enter charts after Biden win

Over the weekend, parties and celebrations took over streets in major cities in America

According to new US chart data, Miley Cyrus’s ‘Party In The USA’ and N*SYNC’s ‘Bye Bye Bye’ have entered the charts again following the announcement of Donald Trump’s defeat in the US election.

YG and Nipsey Hussle’s ‘FDT‘ (‘F*ck Donald Trump’) also entered the iTunes Top 10.

Joe Biden was announced as the winner of the 2020 presidential election on Saturday, having defeated incumbent Trump.

The news provoked a wave of street parties across the US’s major cities as Biden was declared president, with Cyrus’s 2009 hit becoming something of an anthem for the moment.

Earlier in the week, Kanye West conceded election defeat, adding that he would re-run for president in 2024.

At his final rally in Michigan, Trump mistakenly introduced Gucci Gang rapper Lil Pump on stage as “Little Pimp”.

Hudson Mohawke’s ‘Chimes’ soundtracked a Biden campaign advert encouraging people to go out and vote.
