Mez drops 'Tyrone' EP

Mez carries a style and swagger that singles him out when he enters the room. Whether its laying down eccentric bars and flows at ease, and channelling some serious energy live, the Nottingham MC – who made our list of artists to watch in 2018 – reminds us that, though London is grime's epicentre, the metropole isn't the only credible source for the genre.

Today, Mez shares his new EP, Tyrone, and he has boldly coined it 'The Great Grime of 2018' – and we can't argue with that. Across seven tracks of minimalist, bassy grime beats, he is crystal clear in his quest to spray down the microphone. We're going to be bumping this for a very long time.
