Metome - Vital Signs

This man just can't stop making ridiculously beautiful electronic music – and we're certainly not complaining. It's Osaka-based Japanese producer, Metome (aka Takahiro Uchibori), this time with his brand new track Vital Signs. As always, he shows an expert precision in his handling of samples, making what is quite an intricate process seem effortless. Then there's the virtuoso electric piano that oozes the drowsy sharpness of a lounging jazz atmosphere, all underpinned by an acutely energetic beat, featuring glitchy clusters of percussion and particularly cold-as-ice claps that reverb into the breathing space that has been carefully left for these lovely sounds.
