Metallica and Katy Perry are both making 3D movies about themselves

In the only story we’re ever likely to write featuring these two artists, it has been confirmed that both Katy Perry and Metallica are planning to release 3D movies about themselves.

Famous blue-haired singer Katy Perry has been rumoured to be working on a movie version of her live shows for a while, but last night she confirmed the news by tweeting, ‘FINALLY, my MOVIE is coming out with Paramount this summer! It’s called “KATY PERRY: PART OF ME”’.

Meanwhile, Metallica also wrote in an update on their website on the 7th March, ‘we’re super excited to announce that we will be teaming up with award winning [ Predator ] director Nimrod Antal and [ Journey to the Centre of the Earth ] producer Charlotte Huggins.’ The film is expected to have a 2013 release.
