"No red hat": JAY Z's guest bars directly address Kanye West...

Meek Mill’s fourth studio album, ‘Championships’, has dropped today on Maybach Music, with a star-studded array of guests in tow.

Seven months on from Meek’s release from prison, the 19-track record features high profile guest slots from Drake, Cardi B, JAY Z, Kodak Black, Fabolous, Young Thug, to name just a few.

The Drake collaboration marks the first since the pair squashed their notorious beef.

JAY Z uses his verse to directly address Kanye West, saying: “No red hat, don’t Michael and Prince me and Ye / They separate you when got Michael and Prince’s DNA”

Speaking to Ebro on Beats 1 yesterday, the Philly rapper said: “I feel like I’m at a championship stage in my life, where I call it beating poverty, beating racism, beating the system, beating gun violence, beating the streets. Once I made it through all that, I feel like I’m at a winning stage in my life.”

He spoke about wanting to address the criminal justice system through his music, as well as trauma, PTSD, racism, living in violent neighbourhoods and the failures of the American justice system and rehabilitation.

“I come from the slums, the jungle, and I’m time trying to change the route of my family tree,” he continued.
