Marathon Labs announce five music tech businesses for their mentoring programme

This year’s startups focus on music discovery, with apps and platforms for talent scouting...

Marathon Music Group is running its Marathon Artists Labs accelerator (of which Dummy is an alumnus) again this year, and has announced the five music tech startups that will be taking part.

Companies have been sourced from Singapore, Berlin, Israel and the UK to take part in the mentoring programme and networking sessions held at Tileyard Studios, London.

The five companies participating include Musiio, an AI company that makes large catalogues of music searchable; Know What’s Loved, a company using AI “scouts” to discover artists early on and MySphera, a digital matchmaker that connects tastemakers with music makers.

Remixology is a platform aiming to streamline the process of commissioning remixes, while Cyanite is a deep-learning tool for A&Rs and playlist curators.
