Main Attrakionz release physical of '808s And Dark Grapes' and remix Peaking Lights

Main Attrakionz, a rap duo from the west coast of America, made more than a splash from their mixtape ’808s And Dark Grapes’, which combined intricate street rap lyrics with Glasser samples and lovingly constructed beats. You can download it for free from their bandcamp here. It’s one of those records that has made underground (and overground) rap such a fascinating genre this year, and Type Records of Massachusetts, America, are following their re-release of Clams Casino’s landmark Mediafire mixtape ‘Instrumentals’ by pressing a double vinyl of ’808s And Dark Grapes’, out next year, we have learnt (by emailing the guy who runs the label).

The duo have also contributed a remix to the Peaking Lights remix package. Peaking Lights are a wonderful band also from the west coast of America, who are releasing records through Weird World. Hey, why not just go right ahead and stream it below?
