Lil Silva - Salient Sarah (Feat. Sampha)

Fresh from his beautiful, album-of-the-week-worthy debut for Young Turks, here’s Sampha lending his honeyed tones on a beat off Lil Silva’s ‘Distance’ EP, out on Good Years today. Salient Sarah’s sleek, slapping beat would make it an easy fit on the varnished house of the Black Butter label – and makes for a neat counter to gruffer, grimier ‘Distance’ cuts like One Twenty. Lil Silva and Sampha were both present on a killer Deviation bill at London’s XOYO on Friday – and while we’ve crept into August, 2013 clearly has a few summer smashes left in it yet.
