Odd fathers Jay Electronica and Lil B are working on a collaborative EP, by all accounts. It’s a fascinating idea: one of the most precise MCs who reverently rewrites hip hop’s history working with a rapper whose imagination and production volume is – how to put this delicately? – scattergun.

On the collaboration, Lil B said “This project with Jay is gonna be very spiritual, very uplifting, very deep,” he said. “It will be historical.”
