Sure and sensual first taste of Essex producer's debut album on Brainfeeder.

Essex producer Lapalux has come a long way in the past couple of years – from the tentative filmic sketches of Quick Kiss et al to being snapped up by Flying Lotus’ LA label Brainfeeder – and you can hear every drop of the journey in new track Guuurl – the first taste of his debut album ‘Nostalchic’ due in March. “I wanna make love to you,” growl-sings a shimmery vocal sample, foregrounding the confidence pulses through the song’s heart. All his signature sonic quirks and tics are still present and correct but the posture’s changed; this is head high, sure. It’s like he’s done with dipping his toe in the water and finally dived in.
