Kompakt does Southbank Centre

The Cologne-based electronic label comes to Southbank in London this spring with a run of special shows featuring their roster members.

London audiences will get a chance to see Kompakt‘s most recent signed Daniel Maloso on 25th February. As a warm up party for the Ether festival, joining the bill are techno-dancefloor headman Matias Aguayo, who will be performing a special version of their Comeme project (a 9-piece live band outfit hailing from Buenos Aries), London’s Stopmakingme, New York’s Juan Maclean and The Hundred In Hands.

Then, as a part of Southbank Centre’s Ether festival (it’s their 10th anniversary this year), Kompakt will present their very own showcase on Sunday 3rd April featuring co-founders Wolfgang Voigt and Jörg Burger, and an exclusive solo live ambient set from The Field’s Axel Willner, one of the stars of Kompakt’s acclaimed roster.

Upcoming band of the day, Walls, will also perform sets as part of Ether festival hosting the hotly anticipated trouble tune show of 8 April, featuring Pantha du Prince, Apparat and the Walls boys on DJ duty.
