Klaxons - Children Of The Sun

Hear the second side of the band's new double a-side single, produced by Tom Rowlands of The Chemical Brothers.

Klaxons returned last week with a new song, There Is No Other Time, a track which somehow managed to be both pretty 2014 (it was produced by chart-climbing house duo Gorgon City) and pretty retro (there was more than a shade of your '90s-friendly band-does-Balearica about it). What we didnt know then was that There Is No Other Time is just one part of a double a-side and that you can listen to the second side now.

Children Of The Sun is more conventionally Klaxons-esque than that earlier single, a genre-mashing bit of electro psychedelia hard rock pop, riding along on a fat broken beat. It's produced by Tom Rowlands of The Chemical Brothers – it's the second time they've hooked up, and Rowlands has produced other parts of the band's forthcoming third album.

Akashic Rekords will release There Is No Other Time/Children Of The Sun on March 23rd 2014.
