South London’s Klaus (real name Nick Sigsworth) first caught our attention with his track Tusk, which appeared on Mount Kimbie’s podcast for XLR8R last year. Having remixed Mount Kimbie’s Carbonated and Adriatic, both came out on Hotflush last month, Klaus finally lets Tusk see the day of light and announces details of his new EP on Belgium’s R&S. This 4-track EP casually showcases the ambient and experimental regions of the dubstep spectrum with its layered, structured drum beats and the twisted, heavy bass. Turn up the volume and let Klaus’s dark atmospheric sounds override you.
