Kevin Shields sets up label, releases EP, which is not by My Bloody Valentine :(

Quite good news: the pretty great band Le Volume Courbe will release a new EP on a label My Bloody Valentine’s Kevin Shields has set up called Pickpocket. It’ll be out on the 11th November, though Shields categorically denies new My Bloody Valentine will apear on the label.

Shields hinted to the NME that he is working on a 10 minute guitar track, though it pains us to write that after 20 years since the monumental ‘Loveless’ and numerous hints at new material, this is not actually news.
