Kerching! Florence charges £3.99 to stream Hackney gig online

Florence And The Machine are streaming their only UK show online, for a bit less than five pounds.

Famous singer with a loud voice Florence Welch is playing London’s Hackney Empire on the 25th October. Tickets sold out within a minute, but fans will be able to stream the gig, live from The Guardian. In an in-no-way-mean-spirited move, her “people” are charging fans £3.99 for the privilege. Similar to the Boiler Room, there will be a chat function. A digital souvenir programme featuring a ‘signed’ setlist, a photo gallery and Florence Welch’s performance notes will be available. To get an idea of what to expect, though with presumably less shaky camera work, watch this video shot recently of forthcoming ‘Ceremonials’ track Spectrum.
