Kelela & Tink - Want It (prod. by DJ Dahi)

For the latest in their collaboration series 'Songs from Scratch',  Yours Truly have brought together Fade to Mind vocalist Kelela, Chicago rapper and singer Tink and LA producer DJ Dahi – who if unfamiliar in name is recognisable by his biggest hits Money Trees from Kendrick Lamar's 'good kid, m.A.A.d city' and Drake's last single Worst Behaviour. 

The result is Want It, a skeletal R&B track that showcases Kelela and Tink's harmonies and is powered by DJ Dahi's bass-heavy knock. As well as the song, which may very well be the strongest the series has produced yet, you can also watch a behind the scenes video of the recording above – giving a good insight into the three artists' creative processes.
