Justus Köhncke's techno covers of pop songs to be reissued

Kompakt-affiliated artist Justus Köhncke’s covers album ‘Spiralen Der Erinnerung’, released originally in 1999 on August Day Records, is being reissued by the label. The record marked the producer’s debut, and features covers of songs by Paul McCartney, John Cale, and Carole King among others. It’s an intriguing listen generally forgotten about, so the re-release should act as a needed jolt to a few memories.
