Justin Timberlake is literally actually working on a new album

Pop singer back in the studio after six year break from music, thank God.

Be still, our beating hearts. According to US producer Jim Beanz, who recently spoke to the website DigitalSpy.co.uk, former N*SYNC member and quintessential early 00s popstar Justin Timberlake is currently working on his third solo LP.

If that wasn’t enough, there’s also the news that he’s reunited with Timbaland to pen some of the tracks, which will surely thrill fans of their previous collaborative work on 2002’s ‘Justified’ and 2006’s ‘FutureSex/LoveSounds’.

It’s been six years since the Grammy Award-winning Timberlake has released any new material, having seemingly taken up most of his time generally being pretty funny on Saturday Night Live , acting in Hollywood movies and buying chunks of Myspace. As nice as it is to see him keeping busy and all, it’s a real pleasure to hear that he’s going back to what he does best – making absolutely brilliant pop records.

Although the creative process is reportedly in its early stages and with no other details confirmed at this point in time, we’ll just have to wait and see what will come of it all.
