Joywave - Now (P. Morris remix)

Rochester, New York indie dance group Joywave are issuing remixes of each of the four tracks from last year's 'How Do You Feel' EP, starting with this version of Now by P. Morris.

Morris is a Kansas native currently based in LA whose past releases have come on Night Slugs, Fade to Mind (where he worked with Kelela on her 'Cut 4 Me' mixtape), and his own Bear Club Music Group imprint. Since he dropped his 'Beloved' EP last year, Morris has gone on to work with musicians like Chilly Gonzales and dropped a new single called Moving On for Valentine's Day. His Now remix is a hollowed-out version of the song, slowed down to a crawl with the punchy guitar work pulled and the rhythm skewed.

The full EP features further reworks by some of the best new electronic producers you could hope to hear today. Filipino synth pop artist/producer Eyedress, Apothecary Compositions label head Druid Cloak, and Keysound-associated junglist Etch. Keep your eyes peeled on Joywave's social media for new drops – they're putting a fresh remix online every Monday for the next four weeks.

Joywave 'HYDF Remixes' EP tracklist:

01. Tongues (Eyedress remix)
02. In Clover (Druid Cloak remix)
03. Somebody New (Etch remix)
04. Now (P. Morris remix)

Cultco Music release 'HDYF Remixes' on March 30th 2015 (pre-order).
