James Murphy to make his movie debut

Back in the spring we sadly waved goodbye to the end of an era as LCD Soundsystem called it a day but it now seems James Murphy already had a new project on the boil. This one involves celluloid rather than synths, however, as Murphy is set to star in a new film called The Comedy, which will debut at next year’s Sundance Film Festival. He is set to play an “aging Brooklyn hipster”.
