James Ferraro & Triad God - Swarovski

Two of Hippos In Tanks' greats, James Ferraro and Triad God, have teamed up for a new track. Swarovski (of course it's called Swarovski) fits, musically, within the same sort of aesthetic that Ferraro explored on recent album 'NYC Hell 3:00AM' (which received a mixed response from Dummy). Ferraro's voice is subsumed by autotune, while Triad God, who released his mixtape 'NXB' through Hippos In Tanks last year, speaks deadpan nothings over the top. There's an air of inauthenticity about the whole thing, like musical counterfeit jewellery.
